Has anyone heard this?
I just bought it and was amazed. If you are into real roots and sufferah tunes--this is incredible. Totally dread. I haven't been this impressed by a roots compilation in a very long time.
All of the above is true but you're thinking, " it's on Trojan?!" True, but this is the best Trojan comp I've ever heard. Completely blows the Trojan Roots Box away in my opinion.

Yes, I managed to pick this up real cheap off amazon, looking for the fantastic Velvet Shadows tune. Was happy to get that tune alone - one of the best roots tunes ever IMO, but much of the rest is pretty good too.

I love this album, as much for its musical content as for its first-generation-Nintendo album cover. I keep expecting to see Mario jump up on the castle and slide down the flagpole.

Wicked album, superb compilation of tracks.
I too picked this up for the the Velvet Shadows track "Wailing Of Black People".

Yes - great compilation!
I seem to recall an error on the cover of the vinyl version in that it lists tracks from a different compilation.

Yeah!
Excellent compilation with backside cover giving wrong track names.
Please, does anyone know if the tune *I Can't Understand* by Sylford Walker is available elsewhere?
Respect

Some of the dubs for those tracks appear on this.
