Just thought it'd be fun to hear what you knowledgeable people think of as classic roots songs that are especially pertinent in 2008. I'll get the ball rolling with...
...Jackie Bernard's brilliant 'Economic Crisis' (

...and sort of following on from that theme, there's the antidote in Joe Higgs' amazing 'Hard Times Don't Bother Me' (
