Ites to all,

Do you have more information on this cd. It was out on 1988 on Jahmani, and it credits great singers such as black uhuru and ijahman himself. All songs are excellent and sound like late 70' or very early 80', it could be channel one. I am surprised I can't see any more info cause it seems the riddims were not recorded in 1988. Maybe the voices were added on it in 1988 but then where are those riddims coming from ?
thanks

arranged and produced by ijahman except let him go, produced by sly and robbie.

hope this is some help to you.

The original 12" of the Black Uhuru track "Let him go" was releaesed in 1983. I have to admit though that this and all other tracks on that album sound like they were recorded some time around 1980 until 1982.

Oh yes and the songs and dubs by Clive Brown and Black Uhuru are mixed up both on the cover and the label.

Correct tracklisting:

a1. Ijahman Levi - master ideas
a2. Master Dub
a3. Black Uhuru - let him go
a4. Extended Dub
a5. Ijahman Levi - african train
b1. Ijahman Levi - strugling times
b2. Struggling Dub
b3. Clive Brown - mellow music
b4. Extended Dub
b5. His Majesterians - jah is coming again

Totally agree, this is a beautiful collection of roots.
