Anyone one got any good examples of DJs that turned their hand at singing and made a good job of it.
Jah Woosh - Jah is the Ruler
Dr Alimatado - Born for a Purpose, Sitting in the Park
Theres probably loads more.

Purpleman - "My Girlfriend" he sings first then he dj's on the second part.

Trinity - Come Give Me Your Love from the above album. He also chats on the same rhythm (Milk & Honey) on the same album. A truly great set. Trinity did however turn singer later on.

Prince Hammer as George Nooks on the song Africa. Great singer.
There's tons of deejays who turned singers later on. Some with good results. Other not as good.

Alimantado singing 'Duke of Earl'on his Reggae Review LP (see below) is brilliant, although Lee Perry apparently told Alimantado to "never sing again" after a non-DJ audition for Perry...
