I just wanted to mention this album. I have hear many good things about this album but had never heard it apart from one track "One people"

I have now got this on a real nice Japanese import CD and I have to say that I am not dissapointed.

Those who have this album, will already know how good it is, those they haven`t, check it out, I dont think you will be dissapointed.

Excellent album, well produced with some really nice conscious lyrics, puts me in mind of something between "Marcus Garvey" and "Blackheart Man"

I totally agree with you, Dave. I like the first four of Mr. Moses' LPs very much with A Song being my favorite. Revolutionary Dream is also an essential reggae LP. Even though he did move into a slightly different sound (more keyboards/synths but not over the top) after A Song Pave the Way, and In the Future in that order follow closely behind these two major works.

He is a talented musician and his way of arranging the songs creates a meditative and spiritual mood and makes for essential listening.

A Song is a long-time member of my wish-list. Blessed are the patient;)

Dave, I guess your cd has bonus dub tracks?

Hi Bartek,

No it doesn`t contain any dubs, it is just a straight reissue of the vinyl album.

I got it on a Japanese Import on the island label UICY-6941.

It is however, available right now via Amazon Marketplace.

This one was released on Island on cd and I think it is very easy to find.. I got mine in a common music store and saw it many times since then. Maybe is it more difficult to find it on vynil. A very good album but far away behind Revolutionnary dream IMO although it's hard to compare cause the style is quite different.

one Love
