I have Picked up this CD for the tracks that made up the original "Rock N Groove" album.

I put it on in excited anticipation and was totally dissapointed to find they are not the original album tracks.

All the tracks on this CD run in the region of 3 1/2 minutes. The original album tracks are all extended mixes that come with the dubs.

Why is this CD titled "Rock N Groove" ? and promoted in such a way that I have found it to be totaly misleading.

Even the liner notes on the CD refer to the tracks as though they were the originals. I really feel somewhat cheated.

It is very disjointed with the shortened tracks from "Rock N Groove" being inter-mingled with some much later digital tracks. Even "Ballroom Floor" is a digital version.

I never had the original on vinyl and sometime ago was fortunate to be given a high quality rip of the album. I am so glad I never discarded it before playing this new CD.

Does anyone else feel the same about this CD, or for that matter any other CD`S they may wish to mention.

I also bought the cd and was disappointed.
I also bought Sly Dunbars' 'sly wicked and slick' cd to find it is Cultures' 'international herb' album with Sly's name and cover artwork printed on it. Tried multiple times to exchange only to get the same wrongly pressed cd everytime.

I too bought the Sly Dunbar' 'sly wicked and slick' CD to find out that it was Culture's International herb album luckily I had a portable CD player to check it outside the store. I went back in and exchanged it, checked it again and it was the right CD in the case this time. I'm pretty sure there were a lot more people who experienced the same problem.
