I just want to know what mishap happend here.you have a disco release of the mighty multitudes, you know battington levy's first group in 1977, well they come out with a tune call my little black girl. The. There's a chime from patrick andy, I think from the same telling period off of the new star label or another call black girl. These songs seem to be identical, and the artist them seem to be at a very young to distinguish them. So I want to know if it was a mix up or something. Or if the actually did the same song exactly the same way with the same riddim arrangement of what. If anybody knows what I'm talking about feel free to drop a comment.

Likkle more,

Daddy p

I have neither but that voice on the Mighty Muiltides sound clip sounds like a young Patrick Andy to me.

Similar thing to:

"Them Want I" by Crucials, Phase One 12" Producer Roy Francis

and

"Jah Jah Born" by Crushal, Big Phil 7" Producer Morewell

Both exactly the same.

Regards

Rob

"black girl" is barrington's first ever song, his voice was yet to break as a youthman, hence the high delivery. but you can hear levy in the nuances of the voice, the youth yet to become the mellow canary. don't know about that patrick andy angle, however.
