We all know and respect JAMAICA produce the original ARTIST of reggae music BOB MARLEY, DENNIS BROWN and many more.
There is a lot of country where reggae music is played it might be FRANCE, AMERICA, GERMANY any where in the world.List some REGGAE singers or ROOTS group from your country.My country is ENGLAND where we have.

The bands in my country are nothing compare to Steel Pulse Or Dennis Brown. but.. they keep the Roots reggae rithym & consiousness alive here in Puerto Rico:
1- Cultura profetica
2- Gombajahbary
3- Malhoja
4- Roots Natty
5- Filosofía
6- Los Goyos

America has Groundation and John Brown's Body. There's gotta be more, but these 2 are top notch!

In addition to the above listed (by Mick D)America has:
Prezident Brown
Zap Momma
Rootstock
The Revelations
and if you include the US Virgin Islands we also have:
Midnite and Dezarie from St Croix, both rock.
many many more if you count all the non-roots. We have an excelent dub/electronic scene as well as a punk/reggae fusion scene.
Had to mention the dude from england forgot to add Misty and Roots and Martin Campbel
