Hi Everyone,

I heard a tuneon the radio the other day that took me back to my teenage years and made me remember why i love roots revival so much. I don't know the artist or name of the song, but do know the lyrics - can anyone help?

Where were you sitting in your rocking chair
Spending your time
To feed all the baby sucklings
There must be a way
Only the truth can justify this day
Here i am making a stand
truth and rights on this land
there must be a way

there must be a way is great song by Delroy Washington from his album "Rasta". Very easy one to find cause it's on Virgin cd, large pressing. Uk recording featuring Aswad's singer on drums.

ps : i have not checked the other lyrics you mention (cause I don't have the whole song in my head), I hope you're really talking about this tune. If it goes "We've got to get ourselves together", then it's the right one.

bless

I don't know for Ernest wilson, but it isn't Delroy, cause i have Rasta lp (great, different roots from 77). So i think slengteng is right.

Bless you
