Love all the jackie mittoo late 60s early 70s records but was thinking are there more wicked tunes like ayatollah with more dub sound!

Thanks!

have you picked up Blood & Fire release? all Bunny Lee produced/financed, with Tubby's on the mix! serious thing if you like that sound

The Three Third World Albums are Great albums

The Keyboard King
In Cold Blood

These three albums compliment each other superbly.

just bought the showcase album this morning. FIYAH! right from the start merry go round the first tune was exactly what I was hoping for. This showcase is 15 songs from the albums hot blood and in cold blood. are there some essential tunes on these original albums which are not on this showcase that are worth hunting these originals down. there are a few good record stores in the city but i don't think i've ever seen them there.

jordandance thanks for the tips. already knew the showcase and money makers is a different style and i've got that one already. Sidewalk Doctor and Kiss Bam Bam i'll surely check if I get an opportunity. with the stepping tiger i was thinking about some repress but if the prices are like several hundred i'd even rather download it from the internet if i knew where.

Like Leggo Rocker said, one of THE corner stones of reggae music, first at Studio One, later with Bunny Lee and King Tubby and he played an essential role at Wackies from NY. Also check the later works like 'Wild Jockey'(Wackies) and 'In Africa' (his last recordings), brilliant stuff.
