Does anyone know the original artist and the track title of the song posted below? I'm pretty sure i know that jah lloyd is the DJ, but I would love to know who is the original singer. Thanks!

the singer would be....douglas boothe! ken's brother, actually. and yes, jah lloyd/lion on the toast.

I assume the track titles are as flagged up on the download . First cut is " Channel One " off the Jah Lloyd LP " Soldier Round The Corner " , second cut is called " Channel Two " , on a Jah Lloyd compilation CD called " Final Judgement "

Hello, Douglas Boothe is apparently not Ken's brother.. He has covered quite a few of Ken's tunes though & is supposed to have a similar voice to Ken Boothe (but does not imo)

interesting m45...where did you hear this? i have heard for years that they are bros, but true enough i have never asked ken myself so i cannot be sure. i do think their voices are similar. when douglas covered When I Fall In Love, he had that same "timber" that ken has, further confirming the point, again in my own head.

According to Douglas he is Ken's brother... He says the tapes for most of the tracks used on the Jah Lloyd chats were left with king tubbys wife. He went into the army around 1980 and left the music sceen. He is now living here in Toronto & preforming again when he can.

Ken Boothe is Douglas' cousin, not brother. I know this because I worked with Douglas here in Canada & I asked him that question.

Douglas has written a new song. It's about the technologies coming out and stuff. I don't know if he's released it yet? Has anybody heard it yet? I've only heard him sing it to me in person.
