dont have the album but I first heard the track on BFBS-radio (David Rodigan) and took a copy of it on casettetape. Now this is as far as I could catch the words. Can anyone enlighten me with the right lyrics ? excuse my wrong interpretations. Thanks in advance.

Wow, it's an honour to read this reaction, thnx *jgaines7*, and gives some new insights in this song (like "Rae Town" JA) from the late 80's. Now there are at least two person's who did an attempt I guess it is also tribute to the music that the Wailing Souls gave us over the years.

btw, another song, same album, frequently played by David Rodigan (bfbs-radio those days) was "You're My Days" by the Wailing Souls, mostly followed by a version with Delroy Wilson

Thanks, ronld. I first heard "Dog Bite" on a King Jammy CD, back in 93. I played it a lot, because I enjoyed the sounds, and I enjoyed the humor in the song.

uyou were almost right, but of cours is Data Dem (daughters = girls)not dada men (daddy's = fathers) who love the dog bite-tear out clothings . It was fashion to tear holes in T shirts-Panty's etce. to make the more sexy, which kind of looks like a dog bit into the clothinngs.
