I'm a big fan of this tune on his Pssure Sounds compilation, and would like to know if there is anything else in this vein that he recorded?

Quite some. Slave also came on a Crystal 12", I think, with an extended mix if you want more. Is it the lyrics you like, the slow march of the riddim? Either way, here's some suggestions. "The Loser" is kinda in a similar lyrical vein although not as funky, coming from rocksteady times and there's a 12" of that too. Mr H covered several funky soul tunes (Slave is originally by The Temptations during their Norman Whitfield era) such as Shaft (and another version of the riddim Black Moses) and he did some stuff producing The Chosen Few that was quite funky if not so obviously slanted at the roots market with lyrics - Do Your Thing and it's amazing I Roy version Tougher Than Tough spring to mind.
Do Your Thing is worth a topic in itself. Originally an Isaac Hayes tune it was covered by Chosen Few, there's a studio 1 cut of the riddim as "Far Beyond" by Leroy Wallace, and a Heptones one produced by Little Roy/Glen Brown that is truly mighty.
Derrick Harriott; he was a master but cos his lyrics were often about love, he got lost in the pack in the mid-70s rockers boom.

Thanks--both the lyric and the rhythym are fab---i never knew it was a Temps. tune however i havent probed deep into their albums, always being of the opinion that soul was mostly about hit tunes and i cant recall slave as a Temps single.

"A Place Called Jamaica" on MAKASOUNDS is a wicked compo.
But sisaket you must check The Temps out well,
especially the NORMAN WHITFIELD produced stuff ( ANY THING by N.W. was a KILLA !)
