greetings,
does anyone know if the dub version of this song appears on the album Declaration of dub?
as every track on the lp has dub in its title apart from this.
many thanks

True the track title doesn't hass dub in its title but I can assure you "There Is No End" is the dub version on this lp.

Question:
I bought Declaration Of Dub on CD a while back, and was pretty annoyed to hear that most of the songs had been sped-up (during mastering?), noticeably enough that they were in a different/off key, and the vocals sounded slightly like adult chipmunks trying to do The Abyssinians (well, maybe not *that* bad, but...).
Totally ruined the vibe for me.
Shame, because that could/should be a righteous release, otherwise.
Is the vinyl the same way?

I'm pretty sure that I read that the other dub release on the Tabou label does not suffer from the problem you outline above Stepper:

The speed issue is explained there :

The dub to "This Is Not The End" also appears as part of an extended edit on "Forward" :

thanks everyone,
well i went ahead and bought the album anyway and yes i noticed the same problems. apart from that i thought the dubs were very poor. these songs are roots classics and prime dub material. nevermind, you pays your money and you takes your chance.
peace and love
