Now i know that some do and some dont use ebay
,but the recent prices for some records on ebay have been crazy[and for records that are not even that rare].A good percentage of these have gone to Japan-could it be something to do with the strength of the Yen?
Take this for example
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0281993820
a nice record indeed but what a price!

I would like to know who these people are. Collectors? Traders?...?
How expensive are used, collectable roots records in japanese shops? Cost their weight in gold?..
Any suggestions...

japanese were always extremists.
I don't know why this should be an exception.
The problem is when a japan guy wants the same tune I want. If I get outbid everytime I enter the price I just push the price a little bit higher. Let him pay! >:]

Indeed, I don't think we could have a shop like the Japanese
http://smallaxestore.com
in Holland.
For some rarities it seems we just have to put up with the mp3 (although it's hard).

I've noticed that that specific buyer spends an enormous amount of money on music.
