ok i have out of one man comes many dubs
killer album
but i cannot find any real info about them
anyone know who the musicians are?
i'm guessing chinna and flabba, maybe or maybe not, but the rest?

'Ethnic Fight Band' was a guise for a whole lot of different groups of musicians recording for Larry Lawrence. On some sessions you could find the complete original Wailers line-up including Carly, Familyman and Ranny Bop on others the backing band would consist of members of the 'Harry J Allstars' like Max Edwards, Junior Dan, Leslie Butler etc. and when recordings were made in England you could find people like Sonny Bins and Jah Bunny playing.

... Larry had things coming from so many corners, the Upsetters could go under the Ethnic Fight Band guise even, forinstance on Ethnic Fight album Music Explosion there's Imperial Dub, an updated bongo version on the Old Kent Road tape from 1970, and In The Mood Rocker, a late '73 Black Ark rec that came via Bertel Ellis who had Larry issue You're Mine and In The Mood by the Unforgettables Soul Inflation on his Fight label in the UK.
Larry even issued several (Canadian) Half Moon productions, vero Joe Higgs' Creation and Carlton Stephenson's Look At The Time !

addit: when it's heavy stereod dub music, you can be sure it's his own UK produced material ... Larry loved the bombastic

does anyone have liner notes or album details taht they'd be willing to email me?
every time i listen to either of these albums i realize that they are both in my top favorite selections. my curiosity is through the roof.
