heard this phrase couple times wonder what it actually means and if i spelled it right hehe

I think you mean "go inna it, star", which is the same as "go deh" or "do it".

Star or King are terms often used to refer to others.
YES KING ! GO DEH STAR ! are used to encourage or praise.

I think that "guiding star" is the phrase that you are looking for. As in a star that points you in the right direction. It's certainly been used in a lot of songs.
