Jackpot label

I've been listening to this a lot over the past week...
[cover=2208,2560]
...but not being a 7s expert, I'm wondering what the significance of the Jackpot label depicted on the sleeve of this Attack LP is. Is the record actually a collection of sides that were issued on Jackpot (
http://www.roots-archives.com/label/182), and who ran that label?
Thanks for any light you can shed.

So were Jackpot and Attack originally Bunny Lee's labels and subsequently bought up by Trojan?

As an addition to this thread , there is a book called " Young , Gifted And Black " by Michael de Koningh @ Lawrence Cane-Honeysett which is the story of Trojan Records , which gives some insight to the sub-labels of Trojan Records and their histories .
Included is an almost complete discography of Trojan Records and their susidiary labels . Well worth getting , imho. ( And you get a free 12-track CD of rare grooves ! ) Published by Sanctuary .
Also , there is a sister book called " Tighten Up " - The History Of Reggae In The UK ... which has a ..." a comprehensive Pama discography , an exhaustive directory of UK reggae labels "... ( And another free 12-track CD of rare grooves !!! )

I would more say that Bunny Lee used the Attack name without askin Trojan for it as it exised as a UK label first. Bunny did the same with the Rockers name for a bit when Pablo left the island.

Attack label was a label from Greame Goodall from The Docter Bird label.
Later on from the early 70 Trojan take it over.
