Just listened to Lacksley Castell CD re-issue of Morning Glory which I just purchased and thought it was great.
Can somebody tell me if Princess Lady and Jah Fire are as good and also if they are available on CD.
Also the CD re-issue of Morning Glory is on the original Negus Roots, can someone also tell me if they are re-issueing any other titles in their catalogue.
Thanks for any info

I prefer Pricess Lady but Morning Glory is good too, Jah Fire is flat for me, apart 2 killer tunes "my woman can" and "black sheep"...

Personally I prefer Morning Glory, but Princess Lady has some crucial tracks as well.
Check out "You Over There" on Jah Fire too, its a banger.

your big mikey...I think both the Lacksley albums are crucial and both are must haves. Another murder album on the Negus Roots label is Papa Tullo's "Tullo at home". One of the hardest dj albums i've ever heard.

well yuh know how dem start push out some re-release a negus roots catalog, dem gone push everyting soon forward, like voice a progress, tullo, an all dem deh. it all stem fram the producer an label owner fe musical ambassador, the man name trevor elliot, him buy out the palmer brother dem catalog, so give him the right to mek money offa it nuh. trevor elliot give papa ernie exclusive distribution rights to the LP's sdem being put out.
so a whey dat mean fa wi nuh? so wha, dat mean all mi Negus Roots collection dem go dung in value, since a hol eap a dem nuh in production. mi know dem been slightly mixed dung, to gi more a newr feel t'weet. but mi know seh the one yah, horace martin, is 1st LP pon negus roots, ca back fram time ago, him only do disco 45 pon negus roots. an the one LP release nah really tampered wi de mix, so it really sound original, yuh si whey mi a seh?
so mi main concern is, the value a mi original negus roots vinyl. is it up are dung in value? personal value to mi nuh, is priceless.
bless up,
pisces
