Pablo Gad is known for avoiding interviews which is a pity since he really is one of the defining roots artists from the UK.
Hard Times is still one of my absolute favourite LP's. No matter how weird it is with that cow on the front cover.

He must be a bit shy. On one hand he sings bout Jah Jah power and mighty lions and on the other he´s too anxious to perform on stage. Not confident about his lyrics and believes? This doesn´t go together. Practise what you preach.
Anyway, his style is great. Trafalgar Square is a scorcher.

From what I heard it doesn't have anything to do with him being anxious about getting interviewed or such. Rather it's a matter of disinterest.
Perhaps (this is only my thoughts and might not at all be the case) he wants the focus on the music and not his persona.

Don´t want to point my finger.
From my musical past I know how nervous the last 5 minutes before the start of the show can be. Some of our members were troubled by their feelings.
But from show to show it disappeared cause they experienced there was nothing to be afraid of. Possible to train it for yourself or with professional help.
I was wondering how it would be with all eyes on me. But - beeing on stage doesn´t mean you´re focused all the time. I could hear people talking in the first rows (eh, they´re good...which encouraged me)or see them passing a spliff etc.
The thing is you´re not the observed but the observer on stage cause there´s a lot to see.
These may be good tools to stay cool and calm.
