greetings everyone.
I've read a little about Scrocher. People use it like an adjetive, trying to say that this riddim or artist is wicked or awesome. But is Scorcher a kind of style, age or has anything that make it different from other style? is the roots or foundation of ska, reggae or rocksteady?

it's just wicked HOT reggae.

To scorch something is to burn it... so it means HOT!!!!!
As for your second question,, Ska came before Rocksteady then Reggae.
