Have heard this album reently Addis Rockers - Warriors...
http://www.roots-archives.com/release/3520

And I realy was surprised that there was such digital & samples dub in 1984 (if the relise date is right). Unfortunately there is not much information about them in the net. maybe someone can help find some info bout them?
They are probably from the UK, just sounds like & they mention Jah Shaka
Maybe some one knows some earlier examples of digital & samples dub?

Thanks in advance!

I have this LP on wax. very unique sounds....
anyways the addis rockers are: mark addis, tony addis, and victor addis.
preacher-bass
leroy-drums
rizo-guitar
jb-jah voices
tan-tan-trumpet
bammie-sax
recorded @ addis ababa studio london.
im not sure whether its the first digital dub lp but it is definalty one of the earlier ones.
they have done things with shaka. the brothers play instruments on shakas early lps. also victor addis has a tune call 'in the ghetto' on a shaka complilation.
hope some if not all of this info was beneficial to you.
