I am sure there will be an obvious answer, but I would like to know why some of Prince Busters LP's seem to be missing from the archive. To name a few, Wreck A Pum Pum & Ten Commandments are not listed. Just wondered?

Thanks

G

It's missing a lot more than that. Skalipso, etc...

**["The purpose of this website is to bring you a comprehensive and searchable database of Jamaican Roots Reggae Albums from 1970 to 1985."](http://www.roots-archives.com/)**

Surely the question should be;
"Why is "The Original Golden Oldies Vol.1" listed here." ;)

Unfortunately it's not that simple; there are plenty of sixties Skatalites and Maytals albums listed for example. I would actually welcome expansion to cover more of the sixties artists/releases if they are not covered as those are foundation to reggae. Bring it on!

I would love to see Roots Archive expand coverage to pre-1970 releases, and would be glad to help out with scans and information. This early stuff is really the "roots" of the stuff that we talk about here, and is crucial IMO. Rather than have someone start a separate database, to cover the 50's and 60's (or just the 60's for that matter) it would be nice to see it all consolidated here. Just a thought.

I don't think there are the resources to do this. I must admit I've stopped using **["Contribute"](http://www.roots-archives.com/forum/list.php?6)** as the last time I did was 22 January and that *contribution* still hasn't been acted on.
Then again maybe in that case my contribution just wasn't wanted! :)

I wouldn't take it personally, it seems as though the admins are pretty busy people. Myself, I am still waiting for an account set-up so I don't have to post as a visitor.

Maybe one day, someone will have the time and resources to cover the earlier days. Until then, I am grateful for what is here, and appreciate the amount of time and effort it must take to keep it going. Three cheers for the RA team. They may be later than we want them to at times, but they are the reason we are all here together in the first place.
