Got it now thanks....it was Ini Kamoze. Can't find music from him anywhere. Was at a party last night and DJ was playing some music, I recoqnized the voice...

it's a classic Song. Actually that riddim was a big hit for damian marley. he used it for his "welcome to Jamrock" Song. Of course there are a lot versions like
Daville - My Grade or
Chuck Fender - jah nah sleep.
but this is more modern roots/dancehall style
