I was wondering if anyone had heard this compilation CD. I'm particularly interested in the Itals song, "Everytime", I have all of the Itals albums and I don't recognize this title.

This is a nice little song, but it is not by the Itals you are referring to, i.e. the former Westmorelites Keith Porter, Glen Ricks and former Tennor Ronnie Davis.

Like so very often, there has been a group of singers given this name before. They recorded from ca 1967 until 1971 for a variety of producers and made this one for Rupie Edwards in 1970. The 7" came on the jamaican Opportunity label and the english Big label (BG 304).

The compilation itself is worth every cent. Some very rare tracks to be found here!

Yes some great tunes on this disc.The only thing is the amount of hiss tru out most of this cd.Still listenable tho. also Vol 3 is great, having the entire Pure Gold album.
