Does anyone know where to get Rock A Shacka CD`s in the U.K. ? It seems that you can only get them direct from Japan :(

Since Januari vol 17 (Alton Ellis, soul train is coming) is sold from Germany..The rest seems to be Japan only and out of print..

I hope that they are still available. They look good and I'm going to Japan in a few weeks time and I was hoping to pick up some of their CD's and vinyl. Anybody know how much they cost over there? I've only seen the sevens here in the UK for 15 pounds apiece.

Seems to me that the price of a CD is about Yen 2,100 - 2,400 which is about £13.50 - £15.50 .

The price of the singles seem to reflect the limited run and quality artwork .

check reggaerecord.com

PS there is no VOL.4 on CD because that is the DVD of VOL.1

check out Dub Store Tokyo in Shinjuku at reggaeecord.com for a store location map and get them there
OR you can get the cds from TOWER RECORDS or HMV in Tokyo

Thanks for that selecta bing. I was going to ask if anyone could recommend any shops, and you've saved me the trouble.

Just checked out the link to reggaerecord. Doesn't look like I'll find any bargains! Still, nice to get an idea of prices and it looks like they have a huge selection. I'm sure I'll pick up one or two "souvenirs" :)

Thanks again
