hey everybody! does anyone know what record the track "mighty two version dub" is on? it's on joe gibbs, and it's a dub version of "when the two sevens clash" by Culture. i can't seem to locate it on any record. i found a track on Prince Far I's "under heavy manners' album, but i don't know if that has the prince toasting over it....
thanks

Just had a very, very brief listen and the "Mighty Two Version" in this case is the version to the track before it, "Emmanuel Road".
It's just been used as a generic term for a dub cut as opposed to a specific version of a specific song. Definitely not what you are looking for particularly as it goes from "Emmanuel Road" straight into the version as opposed being a totally separate track.
Hope that makes sense.

I get the horrible feeling you are going to have to track down that "Two Sevens Clash" 7" as that is probably the only place it exists.
The reissue 7" doesn't even appear to have the version on the b-side as this looks like the Bo Jangles DJ cut on the reverse here - **["Two Sevens Clash"](

Hopefully, Rob Strictly-Rockers is out there somewhere as this is his area of expertise.
Happy hunting.

Bizarrely, I just stumbled across a copy of the reissue 7" and the b-side is, in fact, "Prophesy" (as opposed to "Prophet") by Joe Gibbs and the Professionals. I listened it, and although it is a dub cut of "Two Sevens.." it did sound slightly different to the version on YouTube. (Don't hold me to that though as I had only heard the YouTube clip once!).
If you are interested (and in London) it is in the Rough Trade Shop off Brick Lane. £6.99 though!

Yes, that is the version side of the original Joe Gibbs 7" of Two Sevens Clash.
