Hello there.

I am looking for the track ID of a song,
maybe someone can help me.
Hope that i am not in the wrong forum btw.

I will also post a link to the mix that contains the track,
but first a short description:

-it is the reggae version of 'Good Times' by the disco group Chic

-two or more women are singing (well, it's sort of rapping)

-some lyrics (uhoh, i'm bad at this and the lyrics are also very weird!):

"now i'm back on my feet, and i'm tellin you sweety: come on little honye let's boogie tonight, you see little mama theres a saturdaynight, and me and my old man ...
gotta make it all right ...
roaches fall all over the food ...
had a milkshake to qunch the thirst ...
whether you black or white were gonna make it alright ...
a-scoobidoo-rock, a-we-rock, a-scooby-dee, we're rockers choice comming at you ...
let me get my sunglasses and put them on, although the sun is already gone, i gotta take-a them to whats going down ...
and the guy next to you opens his mouth and i tell you it's a sin, and you turn around just to discover he has a thoothless grin ...
cocaine, cocaine to go straight to your brain ..."

Wow, you don't belive me, right?
Well the track i'm looking for starts at 54:18 and is the last track of this mix.
It was made by Mike Simonetti, so it's fair to link to his blog (and no, he wont reveal the tracklist which i think is fine, since he promised anyone who could tell all titles '3 records of choice' off his label ^^ ... i really only want this one last track):

WOW,
thx a lot, i think this is it.
It has to be it. You are a genius!
This was incredibly fast!
Thank you many times!

And if you havent heard it in a long time:
time to listen to it again! (If you like it of course!)
Bye.

EDIT:

This track by Xanadu is really good, just checked it on yt and i love it!

Anyway it is not the version or not the artist at all i was looking for.

Maybe some more information:

-it is a slow version

-all instruments are played by the band, no sample.

-it has a reggae-organ in it that plays a little shuffle in the end

-it has a funny sound/instrument that is produced by some sort of synthesizer, it keeps popping in at each end of the melody-loop (i'd describe it as a dub-sound, but thats probably totally wrong as i have no idea of this music?!)

-at least at one part the lyrics are in jamaican patois.

Xanadu and Sweet Lady (who sound a lot like Althea & Donna actually) cut two versions of "Rappers Delight": one is close to the funky rhythm of the original, the other is on a slow reggae rhythm.
