Ram Jam - The Prince Brothers
Posted: Tue Aug 11, 2009 8:03 am
Picked this up from my local British Heart Foundation Shop at the weekend.
Matrix Number - TBLP 101
Recording and mixing engineer - Errol Brown
Recorded and mixed at Treasure Isle Studios
Produced by Rupert Prince (the other brother is Neil)
It's on the Thunderbolt Label
Manufactured by Orbitone Records, London NW10
Musicians;
Drums - Sly
Bass and Guitar - Ranchie
Keyboards - Ansel Collins
Trumpet - Bobby Ellis
Saxophone - Herman Marquis
I have definitely seen a picture of this album before so apologies if there is a previous post relating to this album. (I did a number of searches, but drew a blank).
Only had a chance for a brief listen and it sounded very similar to The Starlights (Stanley Beckford).
Any other info gratefully accepted. The year, for example?
Oh, and it has one of the most bizarre covers I have ever seen. If no one can point me in the direction of more info I will definitely upload a picture of it.
