Is this Lp 'Rare'? i note that the original was discontinued, which is sometimes a 'sign', how much is reasonable to shell out for a copy...

the original was discontinued because island got sued for copyright infringement on raiders of the lost ark. it was reissued on cd at one point as one half of a compilation called something like dub clash old school meets new school.
as for a reasonable amount of $ to pay for the original LP, there were many many sold for many years so i cannot imagine they go for a premium...i would look for one going for equivalent to a new LP myself.

its killer if you like sly and robbie esp if you like their efforts with black uhuru, plenty of tracks from red and sinsemilla there along with great dub versions of fort augustus etc. basically the dub versions taken from island 12" and maybe tarted up a bit for this release.
to me it was a watermark and my first love affair with dub music which i never particularly cared for before this was released.

Must side with JB on this - Killer LP that did for sure attract a lot of new ears to dubwise; wicked cuts to Moulding and Sinsemilla especially if you don't/didn't got the dub plate connexions.

If you ask me, it's worth buying just for the cover art!
