Ernie B's is without a doubt one of the best online stores ever!!! ordered this monday around 10 in the morning and today at 9 in the morning the records are at my frontdoor, that's 2 days for USA to Belgium(Europe)!!! i've been waiting for a week now for a package to arrive from Germany and that's only 500 miles away from here ...

Thanks Ernie and all that work there, you peeps sure deliver!!!

nope, there's only one kind of shipping from Ernie to Europe, so i used the standard shipping. expensive ... mine was 31,68 US $ but that's transport, import-taxes, vat, … for 14 items. if i re-calculate everything then Ernie's records are only 60% of what i would pay for them in Belgium! so cheap is the word! and most of Ernie's catalogue is so hard to find over here, another bonus.
SO i'm gonna stop buying records over here and online ordering is the new way to buy!

greetings

you're right, Ernie B's rocks ! They've got the most reasonable shipping costs and prices out there and since I'm in San Diego I usually get my stuff in 2 days...I was just about to go to their site and buy some more!

Hi !
I´m based in Berlin and used to order from Ernie, too.
Yes sure, he`s got really great stuff, no doubt.
But...shipping costs are sky high. Altough, he gave me wholesale discount, shipping via Fed Ex for 20 or 25 albums was about 50 bucks. Vat & import tax were NOT included and had to be paid extra in cash to the Fed Ex employee when he delivered the vinyl to my door.
I think, it`s the same thing in Belgium.

So after all I decided to stop ordering there because high shipping costs, import tax, VAT, German custums handling fee made it too expensive.

My orders usually took 10 to 20 days to arrive. Maybe, German customs wasted my time at Frankfurt airport by opening every box, hoping to find anything.

And unfortunately, they delivered some LPs in dog-eared sleeves and broken CD cases. One LP was impossible to play due to poor vinyl quality.

Sad but true.

Nuff greetings,

Lion

I-Lion Tafari, don't know what happend too you but it's far from what i've experienced. Just ordered 14 items (7xlp,4x7",2x10",1x12"). items + transport (Fed Ex, 2 day delivery) + vat + import taxes = 111€ and that's real cheap. maybe you ordered some when the dollar was skyhigh on the currency-market or it was that wholesale account you had or that custom fella ripped you and made you pay taxes twice!

go to http://www.fedex.com/be/ and trace 9025 9170 6426 , so fast .....

greetin's

Indeed, gotta love Ernie B! I just got 2 CLASSIC Mad Professor CDs and with priority shipping (arrived in TWO DAYS) came to $8 US. I'd say -- can't find a deal like that anywhere else!
