10 years ago. Japan. Reggae bin...what is this:"High Times Present New Talents" LP? There are two; I buy both, as I don't like to regret missing good stuff. I spin it. Jah lord, this is the BEST most WICKED various artist compilation I have EVER heard; ALL killers, no fillers. High Times band supporting inna Roots Radics alike sound wicked young artists who just rock the house.
> Hot Rocks "Blackman" mmmmmurder!!!!!!!
> Anthony Chambers "Jah Foundation"
> Musa Wadaia "In The Ghetto"
Just 3 of the 10 KILLERS.
If you don't have this selection, you simply haven't heard some of the most amazing, hardcore roots, reggae tunes EVER recorded.
I can not understand how/why this selection has not been more talked about, repressed.
Perhaps some of you have the 7 or 12, or even the LP. If you don't, I'll gladly send you an MP3 mix of above tracks just for you to get a taste of the best ever roots compilation ever!!!!!

Hi Bandit;
Sold the double in mint condition 2 years ago; It sold for 'only" 70 USD; I mean, given this is truly and outstanding compilation, impossible to find, I was disppointed by the sale
Red eyes: this is an early 80's compilation'; Not well known artists but one really wonders WHY; WHY such great tunes didn't transform into albums or more of the same???

From the 3 artists you've mentioned, I have both the Hot Rocks and the Anthony Chambers on 7".
"Jah Foundation" was repressed not long ago on freedom sounds 7" and shouldn't be that hard to track down. The Hot Rocks 7" is a must, and the original 7" on HIGH MUSIC always fetch high prices on ebay.
I have to agree that these two songs are pure MURDERRR, and if the other tracks on this compilation are equally as great as these two, then you're probably right in saying it is the most wicked comp ever.
Got really curious about MUSA WADAIA and who are the other artists on this compilation. Can u please give us the full track list, Vlad?

Hot Rocks is also known as Noel Gray. Right? If so then that song is fantastic. I love it.

I had seen them Japanese LP's on ebay often in the past few months, should keep an eye out for this one...Anthony Chambers tune is heavy, haven't heard the other titles.
