Is that through Dubstore Japan? I think I read that they would reissue some Solomonic stuff somewhere a while back ago. They did a fantastic job on some Kiddus I stuff which is one of the few reissue CD's I've bought actually.

Hello All, So I have a few questions.

1. How is "Searching For Love"? I've never heard it. It's not available for purchase yet, sometime later this month. A waltzing matilda riddim sounds interesting.

2. The Wail N Soul M 7" of "Tread On" is not the same as Solomonic's "Trod On" Right? From what I understand the first four Solomonic singles were Searching For Love, Trod On, Lifeline, and Arabs Oil Weapon. Is that right?

Thanks!!

Hi, "Searching for love" is a beautiful early Bunny Wailer tune and one of his best tunes ever IMHO. It's also available on the excellent Knotty Vision compilation on Nighthawk. big up Dub store for these excellent represses. a bit expensive but worth every penny if you ask me

I think theses are the first four Bunny Solomonic singles: (a bit simplified)

Searching For Love / Must Search (version)
Bide Up / Searching For Love
Life Line / unrelated Wailers track
Pass It On / Trod On (version)

Ahh, that's why I haven't heard it. I have Wiser Dread but not Knotty Vision. Wish I would have bought it back in the day rather than pay Ebay prices. In surfing Dub Stores site I also came across a heavy Little Roy song I don't have - It's Only For Awhile - on the Twinkle label. So now I have two singles to buy. :)
