How is the sound? Sourced from vinyl?

I've got the original on Ghetto Rockers and it has a beautiful rich and heavy sound. A great dub album. Some people seem to think it's quite dull but I really rate it. Would be nice to have a back-up copy so I'm thinking of ordering the reissue.

Karl Pitterson?

I would definitely recommend it. I can see why, as Kalcidis says, some people could see it as quite dull, because it's a very laid back type of groove. It certainly put a smile on my face last night! :)

Cycled down to Dub Vendor at lunch, picked up a copy. Playing it on my GP-3 portable at work: dead good, light on the FX but very musical and defiantly 'Heavy'. Good recommendation 6anbatte.

Is a mono single speaker portable record player the most inappropriate device for listening to dub on? 5 watts of hissy treble and no bass!

So pleased you like it. Played it again just to make sure the sound was as I said it was and it really is a wall-shaker. A very, very *muscular* sound! :D

Just got the builders in to put the acro-props around the listening room , in anticipation of this " muscular sound " ( re. wall shaking !!!! ). :D Looking forward to hearing this dub version , as I have only got the Simply Vinyl re-issue of the " Man from Wareika " . Cheers for the heads-up , 6anbatte . (tu)

LOL. Nice one, Trevor.

Not sure if those acro-props will hold, so please make sure Scarey Mary is well away from what will undoubtedly be a scene of complete and total devastation! :D
