I have the 12inch version of this song and was wondering if the blue moon release of the "Harvest TIme" album is the same as the Negus release of this album? Is the 12 inch version the same from the full LP?

Also this song sounds like a Wackies released song by Jah Carlos "Prepare Jah Man." I heard Don Carlos is "Jah Carlos" Not sure if thats true. Also did bullwackie have anything to do with the song " I Love Jah"

ROOTS!

I Love Jah - Negus Roots 12 " - Don Mc Carlos 5:40
I Love Jah - Album Version - Don Carlos 3:58

As for as I know both the Negus & Blue Moon album versions are the same.

Just played "Prepare Jah Man" on the "Reckless Roots Rockers" and Jah Carlos sure does sound like it is Don Carlos. So i say thats a Yes.

Only "I Love Jah" on Wackies I know of is the Meditations track on the album of the same name.

> yes that is correct, same person

Also did bullwackie have anything to do with the song " I Love Jah"

> No. The bare riddim is created at Channel 1 ( just like 'March Down Babylon and several other well-known tunes') Wackies New York did a mix which was released as 'Prepare jah man'. the other was released on Negus roots, dunno who did that version, I guess robert Palmer.

I Love Jah (Negus Roots 12") is also on the same riddim of Wayne Jarret's "Brimstone and Fire" from Bubble Up LP on Wackies label.
