Keep in mind that those Japanese presses are often superior to any other press ( sound quality, vinyl and sleeve... )
it's not some dibby dibby Jamaican press made out of recycled tyres with a recycled 80s sleeve turned inside out and glued together..
I would buy that Peter tosh tune (anti apartheid ) for sure..

But I think the whole 'limited pressing' concept is retarded. I seriously wonder how they can make a maximum profit on that.....

£15 for a 7" and £20 for a 12" is still a lot of money in my book.
Maybe I just need to change my mindset!

The "limited edition" is a trick to sell more, let's not fool anyone here. You number the first 500, and then the rest are not numbered. Net, the first 500 are "limited editions", and the others are not. This artificially increases sales as everyone hurries to buy, believing stock won't last... Blood & Fire did the same: they did limited editions that have numbers on them, and thousands of others without numbers.
Anyway if you decide to print 50 million copies of Michael Jackson "This Is It" DVD/CD, you can still call it "limited edition". It is limited to...50 million copies! If you sell all of them, you put a new reference number and, on you go, selling 50 million more...
As far as the B Wailer limited edition stuff is concerned: great press, great sound; The label on the 12" is ugly: a printed texture, I suppose to make it look old? But overall great quality re issue! Recommended!
