Hi,

I`ve been looking for Mike Brooks album "What a Gavering" on CD for some time but have had no luck. Can anyone tell me if it is actually released as a CD or is it still only available on vinyl.

Also can anyone also tell me if his 2 cd`s which are both on the Moll Selekta label are any good and worth purchasing. They are titled -
Just the Vibes (Mike Brooks + Various Artists)
The Earth is the Fullness.

Hi Dave,
'What a Gathering' hasn't gone to cd, but there are eight of its nine tracks featured on Trojan's double-cd 'Living my Culture' which I recommend to you not only for these but for the Lee Perry produced tracks on the first disc.
'Just the Vibes' is a great collection of roots music by Mike Brooks, Errol Dunkley, Don Carlos, Barry Brown, Cornell Campbell and others.
'The Earth is the Fullnes' imo is more of a mixed bag, still good though if you really love Mike's style.
