Tribal War 12" Discomix

I'm absolutely desperate to land a copy of the George Nooks Tribal War 12" on Joe Gibbs, the extended mix. But unfortunately I can't find it anywhere - does anyone know if there have been any represses of this version, or if it appears on any compilations or such?

Thanks for the tip. How's the sound quality on recent VP CDs? I assume these compilations are vinyl-to-CD transfer style productions, right?

variable, some sound pretty good other not sure whats going on,their jacob miller release is a good example
most of it is ok but at least track fly away.sounds awfull, which is a supprise as it was released on a joe gibbs release and sounded realy good.
main problem is volume is often to high and some tracks sound distorted, maybe a to high recording level.
but dont let me put you of.
i beleive amazon.com has sound samples up for digital downloads.

Just got copies of Joe Gibbs 12" Reggae Discomix Showcase, Volumes 1,2, & 3 during my lunch break at work. As well as, Tribal War/Jah Did It = George Nooks/Prince Weedy on volume 2; volume 1 contains Riding For A Fall/Gi Me One A Fi Yuh Girlfriend = George Nooks/Welton Irie; volume 3 contains Sadie /Fe Mi Time Now = George Nooks/Papa Tullo.
All going well, I'll be spending tonight listening to Crazy Joe and his followers.

Haven't gotten around to listen to the CDs yet. I overlooked another George Nooks track on which he deejays; How Can I Leave You / Bubbling Love = Dennis Brown / Prince Mohammed.

Received these 3 Joe Gibbs 12" Showcase CD`s this morning and have been playing them all afternoon.
Some great tracks and excellent sound quality.
Well recommended.

Rootsman From other reviews i've read , you seem to be the only one who thinks that all the tracks are of good sound quality. Maybe it's your stereo??
VP reissues are notorious for being terrible sound quality.
From what i've read several tracks sound pretty bad, are you sure?
