Looking for song/lyrics to old 80's Reggae song

Hi There!
I performed a search, but this is a very specific request. Please bear with the back story (my apologies).
Between 1986-1989, my mom bought a used toy that came with a cassette player. Inside the cassette player was a mix tape of Reggae music. My sister and i loved the tape but unfortunately gave it back when we returned the toy.
I've been trying to find this one song from that tape ever since.
The only lyrics i can remember are the following:
"When i was walking down the street
I met a hoodlum girl and she called me Boopsie.
Do you remember me?"
Using various search engines i've come across some Boopsie songs, but nothing that sounds or has the same words as this particular song. I was also thinking it might have been a local artist (i lived in Brookyn, NY at the time) or it could have been a relative of the girl that owned the toy before i did.
Has anyone heard this song, or know where i may be able to research its origin?
Thank you!
