old reggae song mid 70s your mine and we belong together yes we belong together for eternity, your kiss yes it belongs to me now yes it belongs to only me now for eternity, could anyone tell me what it is and who sings it,thanks

Well, I don't know about you, Jay J, but "We Belong Together"
was originally a hit song for young Rock legend Ritchie Valens.
As far as any Reggae renditions are concerned, I can't seem to remember any for the time being. "We Belong Together" isn't exactly one of the most memorable cover tunes in Reggae. Moreover, it's also extremely rare.

in jamaica this song im better known as You're Mine and a real old soundsystem classic, wghich has ben coverede more than a few times
i know i've got several versions in my collection , but i cannot remember every one now.
Tony Gregory &Marcia Griffithe did it for coxsone, ruddy & sketto did it for melodisc, but these are both done in ballad/doo wop style.
i know some reggae style versions too, i am thinking bunny lee: jackie edwards, derrick morgan or one of those mature crooners who did some grown up stuff in a flyers style in the mid seventies , but i dont find it at this time

the only songwords i know from it are ' i remember they say say' and then something about a woman. Twist and Pulse from Britains got talent had a clip of the song in their performance in the semi finals.HELP!
