I am trying to find the title and artist to a song about momma from the mid to late 90s. I think it was a female artist but it may have been a high pitched male. I remember it has alot of parables that momma would say, I remember it sayin sumthing like: "too many rat never dig a good hole....dont gain the world and lose your soul." I think it was part of the chorus. the song was sbout things momma taught us, i also think it said something like chicken back makes a good pot...It was a perfect tribute songs to our mothers and the riddim was smooth and melodic, it was a huge riddim but I cant remember any other tracks that was on it, but I rember that when it was played you would turn the radio up. There were alot of big artist and tunes on it. Help me figure this out cause I had a dream about my mom and that was the song that was "playing"...

I guess you're talking about a reggae tune.

Check the several 90's series that are released like Strictly The Best, Reggae Hits, Pure Lovers etc.
