I hope some of you may want to tune in to a show that will be available in about a month, probably split in to two or even three parts where I had the pleasure of interviewing Steve Barrow, writer of the Rough Guide To Reggae, Compiler, writer, for Island, Trojan, Soul Jazz, and many more, as well as having been much more than one half of the management of Blood and Fire Records.
Steve has over the years experienced much and his insight into Jamaican music is invaluable.

Steve talks about many things in the 'chat' while playing some of his favourite tunes, and he's been collecting since 1962! Bunny Lee, Scratch, Kingston Runnings, Label Shennanigans, Good Men and Bad Men, mick Hucknell and the Simply Red connection, Deejays, Homophobia in Jamaican music.... lot's of areas get covered with a few revelations along the way!

Look out for the show, I'll be posting details on the Off topic area here at Roots archives as soon as the first ep is available for downing.
