purchased barry brown's 'relase the chains the other day, on the same riddim as asher & trimble's 'humble yourself... is this an original pablo production, did it ever come out on the rockers label ? it says prod. by m.taylor, which is one of a & t, but was it ever originally on rockers?

release the chains original release was on impossible to find TUFF ROCK label 12", prod. by Michael Taylor, arranged by Augustus Pablo.

same credits as the orig. "Humble Yourself" 7" on ROCKERS label.

dub appears on "Rockers Meet King Tubby In a Firehouse" LP, titled "simeon tradition."

there's unrel. dubplate cuts to this riddim as well.

one of the roughest roots riddims ever.
