Finally, I've decided to go for a vinatge swiss made Thorens. I think this is best to spin 60's and 70's reggae, both in terms of looks and sound.
I have a cpuple Technicks MK2, no regrets, but the looks are not comparable. It's electric vs. acoustic.
What about you?

Same as BMD, I use the SL-1200 Mk5. Matched it with a Denon DL-103 MC cart. Very good sound indeed.

Bang & Olufsen BeoGram 5500, originally bought in 1986 and passed down to me by my father around 2000. Excellent sound in my opinion.

I Agree Vlad got a Thorens 145 MKII, Luxman L-10 and B&W DM 640 II.
Vintage and just as old as the music (except for the speakers) I am listening to.
Never regret a singel day.
