in about 1982 i borrowed a classic covers album from a pal,the label was damaged so i had no idea who it was.it was pretty beat up so i presume it wasnt new - all songs were slow sexy covers, all by the same artist - tracks included paul ankas diana, the midnight hour,so fine.
does anyone recognise, who was it and whats the title
thanks

The album you're thinking of is by George Faith, released alternately as *To Be a Lover* and *Super Eight*.

I ended up buying the vinyl after I had problems ordering the CD from Hip-O Select. (There was an issue delivering to the UK). That said, AnorakTrev didn't have any problem at all!

Hopefully, you'll have better luck than me. :)

Hi Steve

Trevor definitely managed to get them to deliver to the UK. No idea how he did it though.

Trevor are you lurking? We need you! :)
