Hi, I know these tracks from CDs/LPs but I've never seen any of these songs as 12" Disco/7". Do you know better? Any little help would be appreciated.

Don Carlos - Hey Mr Babylon
Dr. Alimantado - Call On Jah
Cornell Campbell - Trick In The Book (on "Full Up" rhythm)
Burning Spear - Columbus
Michael Palmer - Mix Up (on "A Love I Can Feel" rhythm)
Welton Irie - Assassination

Thank ya

and these?

Horace Andy - Quiet Place
Burning Spear - Door Peeper
Barrington Levy - Bounty Hunter
Hugh Mundell - Africa Must Be Free
Junior Byles - Fever
Gladiators - Hearsay

And I can't find the Dennis Brown's Let Love In on SunShot. Is it the same than Let me love you on Gibbs?

thanks

Irie,

I have a 7" of Hugh Mundell with "Africa must be free" and I have seen the Junior Byles with "Fever" also on 7". My guess is that almost every tune is first pressed as a 7" and that most of the albums are compilations of 7"'s

Bless up

I know it doesn't have anything to do with your question but the King Tubby mixed dub version of A Quiet Place called A Noisy Place is awesomE!

Horace Andy - Quiet Place... yes on Bunny Lee's Jackpot label

Junior Byles - Fever... of course there is a 45

Dennis Brown's Let Love In was produced by Pratt & by Gibbs, they're of course a bit different...

Hugh Mundell - Africa Must Be Free... sure, it has been issued on Pablo's Rockers label

Burning Spear - Door Peep... I saw the Studio One version selling for around 50$. it was released on the Iron Side label among some other Spear tunes
