Is the original mix of the album before it was remixed and sped up (by island) and released currently available anywhere?? thanks

About two years ago i found a repress, think it was on Fox label, of the original JA LP> It was a very bad pressing though

i have it on Total Sounds.
Which, according to the matrixnumber (TSL 1262)might be the orginal JA release. Althought on the strictly-vibes website they show the album both on a Wolf and a Fox label. so there are at least 3 different JA labels

@ Rocky VIII, what is the matrixnr. on your JA reissue?

Sorry i checked i also have it on Total sounds. It's the 7"s of the album I have on Fox (which by the way have also the original speed, and different dub versions from the Garvey Dub LP)

I have it on Glen Admas Capo label outta NY.

I got two copies with the jam mix.

The first I got (not in great shape) has MM 7701 A/B and is on Fox.

The second one has TS 7969 A / B and is on Wolf.

My understanding of the several matrix numbers is:

The very first is: MIC-BS-7574-A / B (Fox label)
The second is etheir TS 7969 A / B (Fox or Wolf) or MM-7701-A // B (Fox). My guess is that the TS matrix is aerlier than the MM one because by the mid 70's the MM prefix was not used.

There was also a press on Sonic Sounds from 78 and another on Tuff Gong (early 80's), but don't know the mat# for both of them.

There are some pressings on Sonic Sound from late 80's with mat# DSR Side A (B) 18454 - Marcus Garvey Geovanni


There are also differences on the cover. My copy on Wolf indicates the recording studio (Randy's) and the mixing Studio (Gibbs) wheras the one on Fox does not mention Randy's.
