Anyone got or heard [this compilation](
http://www.discogs.com/Lee-Perry-The-Be ... ase/925470)? Some of the track names seem dodgy and the cover is awful, but I'd be keen to give it a try if the music is good and the sound quality decent...

I do not have it so don't know about the quality
but all of the titles are correct and can be found on other releases.
Checked smokeyroom for dubious releases but seems OK.

For sound quality, the clue is in the tracklisting. A1-8 & B1-8 means they have crammed 16 tracks totalling over one hour onto a single LP! That's never a good idea.
But half of it is taken from the Roast Fish, Collie Weed & Cornbread album - although A5 is actually Ghetto Sidewalk, not Evil Tongues. So that might be more worthwhile if you need this stuff on vinyl.
The other 8 tracks are a random mix of pre- and late Ark productions, all available elsewhere.
If you really want to have a go at this collection, maybe try the CD instead - SPRINT UPCD002.

Why bother? All of those tracks are available elsewhere and in much better quality. Don't waste your time with any of these half-assed releases.
