I bought the Great Jah Jah showcase yesterday and I really love the sound, it makes me think to earth and stone, with the dub vibe from wackies. I had never heard about them before.

Does anyeone know how good is their second album Rockers in 1982 or have infos about the guys ?
thanx

Hi benjamin,
Jezzreel's 'Rockers' nice, too.
It's not the same people who sing but the vibe is the same.
Maybe 'Rockers' will be rereleased soon.
Greetings

It lasts about 38 minutes....rather normal playing time if you consider it as LP-record :)

If u like Jezzreel checkout the Lovejoys on the wackies label, very similar sound. All of Jezzreels tunes are wicked in my opinion, but doesn't seem to be much info out there, there has been several threads on blood+fire forum over the year u might wanna search out.
I have Showcase Vol.1+2 on wackies and a 12" stop playing tricks/Cheating Girl, all excellent. Not heard of the Rockers one u mention...
