Rocksteady compilations recommendations

I recently bought the Safe Travel and Jamaican Beat compilations which are both great. They have superior sound quality and don’t just repeat the same paragons tracks over and over like other Rocksteady compilations.
Yet still I hear great records that U-Roy and Dennis Alcapone chat over that I have never heard in their original form.
Can anyone recommend any good rocksteady compilations?

I highly recommend any of these compilations all of which are fairly easy to pick on on CD

[cover=7446,2613]
[cover=1484,1715]
[cover=392,464]
[cover=247,273]
[cover=7165,4849]
[cover=593,703]
[cover=5986,4414]
[cover=7393,5019]

Of course there are loads more good compilatios to choose from but you do tend to find that a lot of the same tracks are repeated on several different releases.

hi there congo bunny.
you could try these, some nice music, shouldnt be too hard to find:
ba ba boom - duke reid
its rockin time - duke reids rocksteady 67-68
gems from treasure isle (or real cool rocksteady)-duke reid
jumping with mr. lee - bunny lee 67-68
dance all night - various
put on your best dress - sonia pottinger's rocksteady 67-68
musical fever 67-68 - clement coxsone dodd
red bumb ball - rare and unreleased rocksteady 66-68.
all the above are various artists, and should give you a good sample of the rocksteady years.
especially the duke reid albums, as u-roy chatted over a lot of his treasure isle riddims.
happy hunting
